Don’t think this is gonna be a 100% Gold Remake, it’ll have its differences. Extra battles (some’ll be optionals, tough but rewarding), Hoenn Pokemon (in every area, and hard to find) New areas, Remapped some dungeons (so your old guides wont work) , Extra recurring characters (some’ll hate you, some’ll help you)
Note that the hack is incomplete but feel free to enjoy the hack as-is.
READ ME Famicon Fantasy v1.0 hacked by Zalbag. Thanks to Disch, Y Dienddiwr Da, and many other FF hackers out there. Most of this hack was done on Final Fantasy Hackster. Also thanks to the original programmers. Here's what is changed - you can play through Final Fantasy with a party of very odd characters - there are 12 classes to choose from, all of whom are versions of characters from other NES games or from other fiction. Mario Luigi MegaMan Samus Gundam Dodo HolyDiver Ghostbuster KidIcarus Namek Link Chipmonk Yep. They all have new spells, stats, and equipment. If you recognize the characters from anywhere, you should be able to tell what spells they can learn and what items they can equip, for instance a Gundam can equip a Beam Saber and a Zeta Sheild, Mario can learn the Jump spell, and Link is the only character who can equip the Master Sword. The other big change is that there is no class change, and you can pick any of the 12 classes for your party when starting the game. However, there is a graphics glitch, but don't worry, it only occurs during the character select screen. Note that with no class change, the Castle of Ordeals is an optional dungeon. Other than the changed classes, the game is only altered in very minor ways. Most of the text is changed to humorously have NPCs not recognize the party. A few bosses are radically changed, not only in appearance but their stats and spells as well. I'll leave most of them as a surprise... Some enemies are changed as well, but not many, and some are only changed in looks, not stats. Medusa and Ghost look quite different, for example. That's about it, hope you enjoy it, it's mostly a goofy hack for goofy fun! - Zalbag - (Zalbag L'Aime, not Zalbag Belouve)
