Don’t think this is gonna be a 100% Gold Remake, it’ll have its differences. Extra battles (some’ll be optionals, tough but rewarding), Hoenn Pokemon (in every area, and hard to find) New areas, Remapped some dungeons (so your old guides wont work) , Extra recurring characters (some’ll hate you, some’ll help you)
Note that the hack is incomplete but feel free to enjoy the hack as-is.
/\ PHANTASY /-_\ STAR / /_ \ EASY /___/__\ PATCHES Made by EvilJagaGenius eviljagagenius.blogspot.com http://www.romhacking.net/forum/index.php?topic=28442.0 ================ This is a series of patches for the original Phantasy Star for the Sega Master System. The titles of the patches are self-explanatory. "Double XP" doubles the amount of experience you get from every monster, "Quad XP" quadruples it. In the same way, "Double Meseta" doubles the money reward for every monster, and "Quad XP" quadruples it. The patches can be applied on top of one another and on top of translations. To get both increased XP and meseta, simply apply the "Double XP" patch then the "Double Meseta" patch, or their Quad versions. These patches should work on any version of the game. I have done basic testing on: - US release - Japanese release - Korean release - Brazilian release - SMS Power! retranslation: http://www.smspower.org/Translations/PhantasyStar-SMS-EN - French translation: http://pscave.com/dow/rom/fantranslated.shtml - German translation: http://pscave.com/dow/rom/fantranslated.shtml - Russian translation: http://www.romhacking.net/translations/1294/ - Spanish translation: https://traduccioneslukas.blogspot.com/2013/03/and-now-for-something-completely.html Thanks to: - The admins and the community of ROMHacking.net - Psyklax for inspiring me to make this patch.
