Super Mario Bros. 3: 2ND RUN Beschreibung

Don’t think this is gonna be a 100% Gold Remake, it’ll have its differences. Extra battles (some’ll be optionals, tough but rewarding), Hoenn Pokemon (in every area, and hard to find) New areas, Remapped some dungeons (so your old guides wont work) , Extra recurring characters (some’ll hate you, some’ll help you)

Note that the hack is incomplete but feel free to enjoy the hack as-is.

Super Mario Bros. 3: 2ND RUN
----------------------------
Mission of the 2nd Run hack:

A level only hack aimed at re-designing the levels and the worlds of SMB3. No significant graphic changes or game engine changes are done to the game.

The 2nd Run hacks strive to create levels that (are):

	-Well designed
	-Creative
	-Fun to play
-harder and harder to play as you progress through the game
-Designed so if you have never played the original, you would not know any difference between the two versions.

They are not designed to be "Challenge" hacks, however at later levels they do become quite challenging.

---------
This version of the patch is completed to World 8.

I very much welcome feedback, especially while I am still working on the game. My address is: [email protected]

Ok! Impala

you, for downloading the patch and trying the game. It's fun to hack a game but more exciting knowing that others will enjoy playing it.

Are you using Save States and cheat codes?!? Shame on you! HA HA, but seriously, the levels are made as if they were to be played on an original NES. Still I can't and won't stop you if you decide to "cheat" a little.

There are only 2 places to find leafs in world 1. The first is in a large block hidden in the sky in 1-2. The second place is in 1-4 with the chain chomp watching over the block it will pop up from.

The warp whistle (only one for world 1) is in 1-3. Fly up near the hammer brother to find a white block to duck on. Then fall and run behind the bushes and the hills.

World 2 Level 5 is rumored to contain a Takooni (Is this how it is spelled?) suit.

World 3 contains a few suprises, such as a hammer bros. suit in Level 2 and a Takooni suit in level 9

Sail across the ocean in World 3 to find a mushroom hut with a P-wing.

In world 4 there is a hidden warp whistle (the second) somewhere behind the scenery of some level.

World 5 level 2 has a hidden takooni suit.

The second dungeon on World 5 has a shortcut past part of the dungeon if you can find it.

In 6-3 there is a 1-up contained in a brick about halfway in the middle of the level. It is difficult to hit because it is above a small gap in the ice platform. It is just after the power up.

In 6-5 there is a invisible note block in the second part of the stage.

6-6 is a nightmare to say the least. It was designed for World 7.

There are many secrets in 7. In some cases there are more then one way to end a level, and doing so can move you to a different place on the map. Other times finding an exit to a level involves a little searching.

Is there a third warp whistle?? hmm....
