Don’t think this is gonna be a 100% Gold Remake, it’ll have its differences. Extra battles (some’ll be optionals, tough but rewarding), Hoenn Pokemon (in every area, and hard to find) New areas, Remapped some dungeons (so your old guides wont work) , Extra recurring characters (some’ll hate you, some’ll help you)
Note that the hack is incomplete but feel free to enjoy the hack as-is.
These patches will modify a Sega Smash Pack ROM so that it boots either straight to the main menu (skipping all the introduction screens), to Golden Axe, to Ecco, or to Sonic Spinball. It's done by modifying the branch (bl) instruction at 0x1db4 to jump to the code sections of each game. Done using the wonderful disassembly tool in VisualBoyAdvance-M. If you want to use these patches as basis for hacks of your own, feel free. I think Golden Axe is the best game on the cartridge and would be a wonderful candidate for a restoration, but that's just me.
