Racing Fixes Beschreibung

Don’t think this is gonna be a 100% Gold Remake, it’ll have its differences. Extra battles (some’ll be optionals, tough but rewarding), Hoenn Pokemon (in every area, and hard to find) New areas, Remapped some dungeons (so your old guides wont work) , Extra recurring characters (some’ll hate you, some’ll help you)

Note that the hack is incomplete but feel free to enjoy the hack as-is.

**PATCH INFO**
--------------------------------------
This patch modifies the 'racing' minigame against Johnny in the 2300 Future setting to fix a few bugs.
I spent about 2 hours and most of that was sitting around trying to figure out how the racing algorithms worked.

The unfortunate problem is that there was not enough 'room' that I could see to do a proper 'full' fix without shuffling around a lot of data.
I also could've done a more 'hacky' way of setting a pointer and then finding some free space somewhere to point to but I disliked that solution.
Then I could've just removed either the 2000 or the 2300 reward entirely but that would make this 'fix' the problem by cutting off a limb. Very messy.

I ended up just skipping part of the routines altogether and jumping straight to the next parts. If you want to see for yourself then feel free to open
up the ROM in Temporal Flux and take a look!

The minor side effect for this is that there is no seperate text box with your 2300+ point rewards (you are just told directly by RX-XR).
Another side effect of this change is that there's an 'animation' skipped because of this but I was able to keep the 'item obtained' sound effect in place.

This patch NOT compatible with my 'Johnny Jackpot' patch! Use one or the other, NOT both as they are mutually exclusive (modify the same data in different ways)!
This patch IS compatible with my 'Reptite Reshuffle' patch! It may also be compatible with other patches that do NOT modify level layout or treasures but it is up to you to do testing!
