- Send bug reports to vivify93 via PM on ROMhacking.net or by posting in the main project thread.

- Players are encouraged to keep a backup of their original ROM in case an error occurs.

- To combine this atop other patches, you will need to make use of Kuwabara's Fix CheckSum.

   2. Open the ROM in Fix CheckSum.
   3. Click the "Fix CheckSum" button. The ROM will be saved automatically.


Phantasy Star III has adaptive battle themes. When starting a normal fight, a droning tune plays
while the player is choosing commands. When the player is doing well, an upbeat tune plays. When the
player is doing poorly, a dire-sounding tune plays. When the battle is evenly-matched, an organ song
plays.

The song switching is done rather poorly, and the player's pre-battle theme is hard on the ears.
Thus this project exists to replace the other three songs with the track for an even match. The song
plays continuously without interrupting itself to restart.

- Battle (Balanced) will play at the start of a non-ambushed fight rather than Battle (Begin).

- Battle (Balanced) will play when the player is doing well in combat rather than Battle (Winning).

- Battle (Balanced) will play when the player is doing poorly in combat rather than Battle (Losing).
