Don’t think this is gonna be a 100% Gold Remake, it’ll have its differences. Extra battles (some’ll be optionals, tough but rewarding), Hoenn Pokemon (in every area, and hard to find) New areas, Remapped some dungeons (so your old guides wont work) , Extra recurring characters (some’ll hate you, some’ll help you)
Note that the hack is incomplete but feel free to enjoy the hack as-is.
Final Fantasy Revolution (Version 3.0 Final) by Tzar http://www.opgaming.com Installation: Place a clean FF1 ROM, the ips patch, and SNESTool (it is included with FFR) into the same directory. Open SNESTool and select 'Use IPS'. Choose the ips file and then the FF1 ROM. What's New: 3.0 Too much to note. This hack is finished, yo! Send comments and bugs to [email protected]. 2.0 Completely rebuilt version of Final Fantasy Revolution, using Goongyae's AWESOME FF1 facelift patch as a base. Also new in this version are completely new Fighter/Knight graphics. Missing from this release are some of the magic edits from the original FFR. This version is also known as Final Fantasy Revolution Plus (FFR+). 1.4 Limited release. Miscellaneous fixes and tweaks. 1.3 Some updated enemy graphics. A lot of tweaks to Chaos and that hideous WarMech (there's now a 50% chance of fighting two WarMechs). The battle with Bikke in Pravoka makes actually makes sense now. 1.2 Not released. Unfixed the Hackster generated bugs that created a whole slew of ugly new bugs! 1.1 Fixed Pravoka entrance bug. Fixed a whole slew of FF Hackster generated bugs, using Disch's program, Correcster. 1.0 Original FFR hack pieced together using Disch's excellent Final Fantasy Hackster. (An interesting fact: Tzar was inspired to create other hacks after using Hackster, and then later suggested starting a hack group with Rubicant. This hack group, at the time known only as OmniPlay, has evolved into what is now the OmniPlay Gaming Network). Program's Used: (All programs are available at www.zophar.net) FF Hackster SNESTool Goldfinger Tile Layer Pro Shouts to all those that helped! (No particular order) Rubicant SilentTwn Goongyae (Beware MechaTzar!) Disch Snowbro Grond Renidragon And many, many more! Byakko If you aren't here, you Harlock know you own anyways!
