is a Hack made entirely in Windows XP, thus the name Xtra Promo.it once was submitted on here as a complete hack and in fact it is a complete change from SMB1 but this was not just a Hack of Super Mario Bros, it was a hack of All Night Nippon Super Mario Bros [p1].nes. 

when submitted before is probably one the reasons it wasn't accepted, but I don't remember was a long time ago like 2007, all I remember is after it got rejected I asked why in the forums and some user had commented that it was ugly, so I tried to explain that was the theme of the hack. 

Anyway This hack has some my best or worse original Graphic works made for a Super Mario Game. Aside that some are left over from All Night Nippon Super Mario Bros most the rest are my own creations.

The Coin Blocks, Bricks, Pipes, etc Made with "Nesticle 95" or "Tilelayer Pro" both were used. 
 
I stole a graphic or two one I remember is a skull from goonies and probably the Extraterrestrial Toad that is in there.

what else is there besides some fine tooning well unlike Super Mario Bros and All Night Nippon Super Mario Bros is that this Hack has 36 levels instead of just 32 levels like the original two games.
 
plus I moved levels around for the game both to make the game longer, and to add more chalenge instead of 4th stage most levels end at the 5th stage like 1-5 2-5 etc. I did however notice on a play through that I ended up at 3-4 being the end level for level 3 only. But since this hasn't been worked on since 2007 this is left there as I don't have a Windows XP capable computer. I can't work on it in XP and I don't want to ruining the element that made Xtra Promo Bros.

Another note is that I'm unsure whether All Night Nippon Super Mario Bros [p1].nes is a real rom image or is just a very well done hack of Super Mario Bros to mirrior the FDS version as close as possible I have included a patch that is for Super Mario Bros (W).nes and will submit this as a Super Mario Bros Hack, but will still include the patch that is for the ines All Night Nippon Super Mario Bros [p1].nes only.

in the end altough I consider this a complete hack I reckon it is a Spoof of All Night Nippon Super Mario Bros [p1].nes but just is not for the FDS Version.. This is Super Mario Bros..   

it is confussing as hell..

one part of the Text that is changed is for the Warp Zone you may notice on a gameover That there is a letter missing in Game Over this has to do with how the Warp Zone text was fix and the Title Screen is able to say Xtra Promo. It is not a bug. 

On a odd or even level somewhere you may wrap in a pipe that isn't where it should be and get stuck there and have to start the game over, I just would avoid most Pipes.. Or you may end up like Robin on Teen Titans Go.
