Mega Man X - Debug MenuDescription

Don’t think this is gonna be a 100% Gold Remake, it’ll have its differences. Extra battles (some’ll be optionals, tough but rewarding), Hoenn Pokemon (in every area, and hard to find) New areas, Remapped some dungeons (so your old guides wont work) , Extra recurring characters (some’ll hate you, some’ll help you)

Note that the hack is incomplete but feel free to enjoy the hack as-is.

Mega Man X - Debug Menu Hack

Version 1.0
** To access to menu press L+X+A on Joypad #1. **

Awhile ago I found out there was a hidden Map Editor and a PAR code to access it by
triggering it when pausing the game. It only worked on Version 1.0 though and I didn't
like the way you accessed it. For example the map editor cursor gets stuck on the
screen permanently, I fixed that. So I made this hack to use the Map Editor as well
as use a bunch of other handy options.

Map Editor
Toggle Upgrades (Helmet, Arm Cannon, Armor, Dash Boots)
Refill Energy
Free Scroll - Disables locking of scrolling boundry so you can move outside of the level.
Suicide - If you debound the level or mess around enough you may need to respawn.
Ghost Mode - Makes you Invulnerable by disabling certain collisions.

For US Version 1.1, other versions untested.
To access to menu press L+X+A on Joypad #1.

The Map Editor can be used as follows, credit to TCRF.net

Controller 1

    D-pad: Move screen.
    A: Toggle layers.
    B + d-pad: Increase cursor speed.
Y: Toggles index values / collision data for tiles.
    L + R + X: Exit map editor.

Controller 2

    D-pad: Move tile cursor.
    A: Copy selected tile.
    B + d-pad: Increase tile cursor speed.
    Y: Place tile.
    L, R: Cycle through tiles.
