Extra battles (some’ll be optionals, tough but rewarding), Hoenn Pokemon (in every area, and hard to find) New areas, Remapped some dungeons (so your old guides wont work) , Extra recurring characters (some’ll hate you, some’ll help you)

Final Fantasy Tactics Complete v2 or FFTCv2 is a patch for the Final Fantasy Tactics psx
game.

With only 9 months (and not 7 years without a single release), it has some modifications
never seen in any other mods nor the PSP version.

Summary of changes:
-It swaps O-X buttons.
-Party roster extension up to 20 slots.
-Dynamic level cap until the end of the game.
-One additional job.
-Monster job wheel after certain event.
-New Game Plus.+
-Translated novels.+
-Some events are skippable.+
-And much more (check the README for more details).

+Since version 1.2.

This is the first patch -released- that has translated novels and NG+ feature fully
working.

Since v2.0, this patch:
-does not contain anything from 'FFT Complete'
-all custom sprites were removed

--Quality:
---It swaps O-X buttons, so the game behaves like a true US game (both = turbo for X).
---Party roster extension up to 20 slots. (pokeytax has most of the credit here)

---Switch units with L1 and R1 in formation screen, only if sorted by number. Ramza is
an exception. (Zen made the last two fixes)
---Monsters lay eggs only in the last roster slot (move it with L1 after hatched to get
another one, or place a unit with R1 there to prevent new ones).
---Broken (even if you broke your allies stuff) and stolen items can be bought back at
the fur shop.
---Fur shop (or Poach's den) enabled on chapter 2.
---Set initial battle camera zoom far and angle hi values.
---Cloud joins with an average party level.
---The last floor of the Deep Dungeon can now spawn Porkys and Wildbows.
---Regain learned abilities and total job points of any non monster unit that leaves
permanently the party roster by placing any other non monster unit on the same roster
number of the unit lost.+
---Added the ability to change the name of any party member after beating the game.+
---Broken katanas can be bought back at the fur shop.+

--Custom:
---One additional job.
---Monster job wheel after certain event.
---Ramza jobs changed (Squire - Fell Knight - Blue Knight).
---New Game Plus and Continue Plus.+
---Higher tier jobs require story progression (Example: no time mage for chapter 1).
---Changed most of rare poach to get all non throwable rare items at the fur shop.
---Mighty swordskills have 100% chance to break equipment, but now it won't do damage if
gear is about to be broken. If no gear, human or not, it will do normal damage like other
swordskills (WP+Y)*PA. Maintenance or Safeguard prevents item breakage and damage.
---With Move-Find (or Treasure hunter) you will always get rare items if your brave is
not higher than 20.
---Now you can gain up to 99 JP. Gained JP Up goes to spillover too.
---Consecutive kills won't subtract from base EXP Gain.
---Jumping abilities are additive, so to get max range you need to learn them all.
---Starting items are only 5 potions.
---Dead or poached monsters will not increase casualties nor injured.+
---MP Switch only uses current MP, rest goes to HP.+
---Human enemies spend all their available JP.+
---Human enemies that get level 8 for a job have around 5k JP to spend.+
---Last fights from chapter 3 and 4 get options before gameover.+

--Fixes:
---No JP glitch.
---No more shemale time mage in the Deep Dungeon.

--Balance:
---Mime has better overall grown stats than vanilla.
---Bard and Dancer have worse overall grown stats than vanilla.
---Job levels JP amount increased.
---Elmdor has maintenance, so the genji gear can only be obtained via poaching.
---Zeklaus Desert has all four degenerator traps.
---Chaos blade DMG reduced from 40 to 30.
---Excalibur DMG increased from 21 to 24.
---Materia blade DMG increased from 10 to 16.
---Iga knife DMG increased from 14 to 20.
---Zorlin shape DMG increased from 12 to 14.
---Aegis shield MBR increased from 50 to 60.
---Genji shield PBR increased from 43 to 90.
---Kaiser shield PBR increased from 46 to 80.
---Venetian shield PBR increased from 50 to 80.
---Escutcheon II MBR increased from 50 to 75.
---Genji helmet now grants immunity to confusion and charm.
---Grand helmet now grants MP+35 and immunity to blind and sleep.
---Genji armor grants regen.
---Maximillian armor grants MP+50 plus protect and shell.
---Vanish mantle PER increased from 35 to 50.
---Angel ring grants reraise (permanent).
---108 Gems now grants additional immunity to dead, invite, charm, confusion, berserk
and death sentence.
---Ramza's last job can wear some female gear and crossbows.
---Cloud's limit breaks CT reduced.
---Many normal monster attacks can now be countered by Blade Grasp too.
---Queklain, Velius and Altima's last form have more HP.
---Ramza's last job Move lowered from 5 to 4. Increased Jump from 3 to 4.
---Mustadio's abilities HC increased from 50 to 80, 50 to 70 and 70 to 80.
---Protect, Shell, Prevent and Defend reduce damage by 50 percent. They stack, defend
only does if defending, protect only for physical and shell for magical.+
---Def UP, MDef UP and Full Prevent reduce damage by 75 percent. They do not stack with
Prevent.+
---Att UP and MAtt UP increase damage by 100 percent.+
---Recover restores 999 HP and MP per turn, even if poisoned.+
---All Treant abilities now have vertical 2.+
---Knight has innate Prevent.+
---Knight Move reduced from 3 to 2.+
---Archer now has 3 charged shots, they multiply the damage by 2, 4 and 8. CT is now
reduced if short or non charge is equipped.+
---Lancer now has 6 jump upgrades (+1, +2 and +4).+
---Can no longer jump while mounted.+
---Floating units can no longer mount.+
---All types of ultima magic ignore faith.+
---Chicken immunity also grants immunity against most of Br, Fa, Pa, Ma, Sp changes.+
---Altima's last form is extremely powerful (be warned).+
---Ramza abilities sorted.+
---Shout no longer increase brave and replaces Focus. Steel gains +20 brave.+
---All Morbols have Poison immunity.+

Most of these issues (if not all) can be fixed after a starting a NG+ (since v1.2):

-You can use your old saves from vanilla, though it is not recommended.
-File saves after chapter one will not have fur shop enabled on chapter two.
-Since this patch remove guests, file saves with guests will make them appear like
standard party members. Using them in story battles will make them appear as duplicate
ones. They will never leave, only the player can dismiss them.
-Cloud's record fix, will not work if you already did Cloud's quest.
-If you are using jobs that are not supposed to be unlocked yet, then it will look weird
than same units can use those and others not.
-If your levels are higher than the current cap, you will not be able to level up but
this could create a temporary situation where some units can have a higher level than
others.
-Ramza's ultima skill slot is changed, so if you unlocked already it will not be unlocked
and probably you will not be able to unlock it again.

New job, Mentalist:
-Requires Zalera defeated and WHM Lv8, BLM Lv8, TM Lv8, SUM Lv8, ORA Lv8 and CAL Lv8
-Abilities Master Teleport (Teleport 2), Instantaneous (Non charge), Full Prevent,
Recover, Inhale and Celestial Stasis (Galaxy Stop).
-All stat multipliers are 1, except for speed (it was too boring before).
-Can not set abilities nor equip items.
-No spillover JP.
-No attack command.
-Has innate Levitate and Master Teleport.
-Has two action abilities, Inhale and Celestial Stasis.
-Mentalist skillset can be set as secondary for other jobs.

Monster Job Wheel:
-Unlocked after defeating Elidibus or beating the game (since v1.2).
-Any monster from Chocobo to Tiamat can change its monster type from Chocobo to Tiamat.
-The monster wheel changes as you change the monster class.

Altima last form changes:
-PA, MA and SP above 20.
-HP over 5k.
-Level 99.
-Has Recover, Full Prevent and Instantaneous.
-Slow and Don't Move immunities added.
-Reaction is Shirahadori (Brave 90).
-Class evasion is 50 percent.
-Grand Ultima damage multiplier is 100 (Vanilla is 55).

New Game Plus:
-After beating the game you will have 3 options:
--End the game like it is done in vanilla.
--Go back to the World Map (Mullonde) with these:
---New records.
---New artefacts.
---The ability to rename all your party members at the soldier office.
---Unlocked monster wheel if not unlocked already.
--Start a new game (Gariland) with these:
---The ability to rename all your party members at the soldier office.
---Unlocked monster wheel from the start.
---Unlocked poach's den.
---No more job story progression restrictions.
---Your inventory will be added to the poach's den inventory, and cleared after.
---All your gil.
---All your abilities, bravery, faith, job points and total job points for Ramza, plus
all slots will have the abilities and total job points of your old party members for any
non monster unit that is placed there. If you place a monster those things will be lost.
