Don’t think this is gonna be a 100% Gold Remake, it’ll have its differences. Extra battles (some’ll be optionals, tough but rewarding), Hoenn Pokemon (in every area, and hard to find) New areas, Remapped some dungeons (so your old guides wont work) , Extra recurring characters (some’ll hate you, some’ll help you)
Note that the hack is incomplete but feel free to enjoy the hack as-is.
Why hello there! :) Thank you for downloading my hack, Bubble Bobble Deluxe. I started making it back in 2015, and now released it in 2018, 30 years after the release of the original NES title. I had a blast making it, and I hope you enjoy playing it as much as I enjoyed making it! In case you're new to playing ROM hacks, the .ips file included in this .zip file is a patch. It includes all of the changes that Bubble Bobble Deluxe contains over the original. In order to play Bubble Bobble Deluxe, you'll need an original NES Bubble Bobble ROM (Bubble Bobble (U) [!].nes, to be exact.) Once you have that, you'll need a program to apply this patch to the original ROM to create the Bubble Bobble Deluxe game. For Windows users, I recommend Lunar IPS, which can be found here: https://www.romhacking.net/utilities/240/ For macOS users, I recommend MultiPatch, which can be found here: https://www.romhacking.net/utilities/746/ Open the program, then load your original NES Bubble Bobble ROM and the Bubble Bobble Deluxe .ips patch that was included in this .zip file, and then you can save your newly created Bubble Bobble Deluxe ROM! You can then use an NES emulator to play it. Big shout out to the people found below!
