Don’t think this is gonna be a 100% Gold Remake, it’ll have its differences. Extra battles (some’ll be optionals, tough but rewarding), Hoenn Pokemon (in every area, and hard to find) New areas, Remapped some dungeons (so your old guides wont work) , Extra recurring characters (some’ll hate you, some’ll help you)
Note that the hack is incomplete but feel free to enjoy the hack as-is.
This is a difficulty patch for Super Metroid that should be compatible with every hack out there besides Control Freak. There are four versions of the patch which include the following options: Dealing 50% damage and receiving 200% damage Dealing 75% damage and receiving 150% damage For hacks with Ceres Space Station intro For hacks without Ceres Space Station intro These were designed with begrimed's excellent Project Base in mind and the 50%/200% version of this patch was play tested and should be optimal with that hack. 75%/150% would be the recommended option for the original game. ***Please note: difficulty changes will not kick in on existing save files. Starting a new game is required. Hell mode is toggled in the special setting mode menu under what was previously the icon cancel option. Under the save file, "Mode H" will be displayed to confirm the setting is active. This code was written by PHOSPHOTiDYL. Concept was a collaboration by PHOSPHOTiDYL and Chicken Knife.
