Don’t think this is gonna be a 100% Gold Remake, it’ll have its differences. Extra battles (some’ll be optionals, tough but rewarding), Hoenn Pokemon (in every area, and hard to find) New areas, Remapped some dungeons (so your old guides wont work) , Extra recurring characters (some’ll hate you, some’ll help you)
Note that the hack is incomplete but feel free to enjoy the hack as-is.
The Sub Minimod by DevAnj Portrait of Ruin, while being a good game, is infamous for its imbalance in systems and mechanics. One of the glaring examples were the dart and shurikens being too good at master level, especially the shuriken. This minimod was created in an attempt to fix this by making the darts require as much accuracy on master as unmastered, while the shurikens only throw two projectiles regardless of mastery. Granted, there's a lot more that could be fixed in PoR, but those come a lot later, since they require more effort. Regardless, feedback and suggestions on my mod would be appreciated. Instructions: Use Lunas IPS or a similar program to patch it onto your ROM. Warning: This patch was only tested on the American release of PoR. Other versions are not supported.
