Don’t think this is gonna be a 100% Gold Remake, it’ll have its differences. Extra battles (some’ll be optionals, tough but rewarding), Hoenn Pokemon (in every area, and hard to find) New areas, Remapped some dungeons (so your old guides wont work) , Extra recurring characters (some’ll hate you, some’ll help you)
Note that the hack is incomplete but feel free to enjoy the hack as-is.
Metroid Planet Thank you for downloading my Metroid hack, Metroid Planet. In this remix of Metroid, I've altered the levels to make them more challenging. I've also changed the colors of the different levels and edited the text. However, I could not have made this game alone, so I would like thank the people(and programs) that helped me make this game... Credits Metroid Level Editor: Snowbro Text Editor: "Thingy" Testing: Jake West Joseph Timbers Special Thanks To: Nintendo The creators of the original Metroid ...and that's about it. This game took a lot of time to finish, and I hope you enjoy it. I have tried to test every area of this game for glitches, but there might still be some glitches lurking somewhere in the game. If you find any glitches, please tell me so I can fix it. Instructions To play Metroid Planet, you will need a Metroid ROM and a NES emulator. I don't know where to get either of these, so please don't ask me. After you've unzipped metroidplanet.exe, put it in the same directory as your Metroid ROM(which should be named Metroid.nes). Now open metroidplanet.exe and follow the instructions to apply the Metroid Planet patch to the Metroid ROM. Now, use an emulator to open the Metroid ROM and play Metroid Planet. I've also included Metroid Planet's MAP file so you can see the game's map in MetEdit. However, this should be used as a last resort. Only look at the MAP file if you've tried everything you can think of and you're still stuck.
