Don’t think this is gonna be a 100% Gold Remake, it’ll have its differences. Extra battles (some’ll be optionals, tough but rewarding), Hoenn Pokemon (in every area, and hard to find) New areas, Remapped some dungeons (so your old guides wont work) , Extra recurring characters (some’ll hate you, some’ll help you)
Note that the hack is incomplete but feel free to enjoy the hack as-is.
Castlevania - Portrait of Ruin Change Cube Voice Clip Removal [v1.0] --- Removes the infamous voiced clips (Charlotte! Johnathon! alt. Sharotto! Jonasan!) played when switching between the two playable characters; both the English and Japanese sound files are affected. All other voices clips and sound effects are untouched. This patch is mainly targeted towards speedrunners, as the fastest method of moving in this game relies on quickly switching from one character to another in rapid succession, leading to the voice clips in question being played repeatedly, and may become grating over the course of multiple playthroughs. Includes patches for both the United States and European versions. Patches are supplied in the .xdelta format.
