Don’t think this is gonna be a 100% Gold Remake, it’ll have its differences. Extra battles (some’ll be optionals, tough but rewarding), Hoenn Pokemon (in every area, and hard to find) New areas, Remapped some dungeons (so your old guides wont work) , Extra recurring characters (some’ll hate you, some’ll help you)
Note that the hack is incomplete but feel free to enjoy the hack as-is.
Super Robot Wars EX - Hard mode patch Version 0.01 By hanhnn - Sep 27th, 2012. USAGE If you're using a SNES emulator, you give the patch the same name as the ROM, excluding the extension. EG: If your ROM is "srwex.smc", name the patch "srwex.ips". NOT "EX.smc" or "EX.smc.ips". Most of the recent SNES emulators should autopatch it for you as long as the files are named correctly. And as long as you haven't turned auto-patching off. If you have, you might want to turn it back on. PROBLEMS? This patch only works on a headered SRW EX rom. To check, open up the Properties dialog (for Windows users, at least. May be named something different for other systems) by right-clicking on the ROM, and make sure the Size field is 1,573,376 bytes If it is instead 1,572,864 bytes then you have a ROM without a header and you should either find one which does, or find a program to add a header to it for you. GAME HINT To get the true ending of the game you need to start Ryune chapter while using the ISS feature on a Shuu save file where Shuu has encountered Ryune in scenario 5, Shuu route. After scenario 10, Ryune route, in scenario 11 you'll be given the choice to fight Shuu or retreat. If you didn't use the correct save, you would never meet Shuu. hanhnn, 2012/09/27
