Super Mario Bros. Third Quest について

Don’t think this is gonna be a 100% Gold Remake, it’ll have its differences. Extra battles (some’ll be optionals, tough but rewarding), Hoenn Pokemon (in every area, and hard to find) New areas, Remapped some dungeons (so your old guides wont work) , Extra recurring characters (some’ll hate you, some’ll help you)

Note that the hack is incomplete but feel free to enjoy the hack as-is.

If Super Mario Bros. had a third quest built-in to the game, what would it do differently?
That was the question I had when starting this hack. 

This has a number of enhancements on top of the built-in "new quest."

A new type of enemy, the "Spiny Beetle" has replaced the Goomba/Buzzy Beetle.
Piranha plants are enabled on 1-1.
When hitting enemies from below, they change direction much like the Spiny (instead of flipping).
