Don’t think this is gonna be a 100% Gold Remake, it’ll have its differences. Extra battles (some’ll be optionals, tough but rewarding), Hoenn Pokemon (in every area, and hard to find) New areas, Remapped some dungeons (so your old guides wont work) , Extra recurring characters (some’ll hate you, some’ll help you)
Note that the hack is incomplete but feel free to enjoy the hack as-is.
MEGAMAN_LEGENDS PATCH This is a fix for (some of?) the text errors in the game, and maybe with game additions in the future. To patch the game, you need CDRWIN and CDMage, and UIPS. These are all free. If you have seen any text errors that I didn't find, email to90zeroblue at aol dot com. FIXES: -Fixed Buster Unit error. Now reads: Increases Attack and Range -Spring Set fixed. Now reads: Leg power enhancer set -Title ADDONS: -None yet, addons will be given different patches from the fixes. PATCH: 1 SUB_KEY.ips text fix to be used with 2 and 3, or will not work 2 SUB_WPN.ips text 3 ST04_01.ips text 4 DEMO_DAT.ips title with duofix HOW TO PATCH: -Open CDRWIN. Change ONLY these settings: Reading Options check only RAW, Error Recovery to Ignore, All speeds to 1x, Read Retry Count 50 -Open the cd: MEGAMAN_LEGENDS\CDDATA\DAT and take out the files you want to patch, they end in .BIN instead of .ips. -Patch the files in a dos window with UIPS in the format: UIPS a NAME.ips NAME.bin -Open CDmage. Find the cue file you got with CDRWIN. Go to MODE2\CDDATA\DAT, right click on each file you want to replace, then click Import File. Open the patched file you made. Save, and give the file a new name, click okay if any options come up. -Burn the new bin/cue you made with CDRWIN.
