Introduction:

This modification to the game allows one to play as a female protagonist. Gameplay remains mostly identical so as not to change the experience, only allow the game to be played as a female character.

Version 1.0 (October 2015) Change Log:

- Replaced name Joshua with Judith.
- Joshua sprite and portraits replaced with those of Ilene Two Fists.
- All relevant pronouns referring to player character changed to reflect female gender.
- Replaced name Ilene with Isaac.
- Ilene sprite and portrait replaced with those of Samurai version of Joshua.
- All relevant pronouns referring to character Ilene/Isaac changed to reflect male gender.
- Small dialogue changes in reference to and by Joshua/Judith and Ilene/Issac.
- Added note of modification to title screen.

Installation:

Obtain a normal copy of the Shadowrun ROM. These may be obtained from numerous sites.

Obtain an IPS patcher.  I recommend Lunar IPS which was what I used to create the patch.

Use the patcher according to its instructions.

Notes:

The sprite of Ilene still shows up when you rescue Isaac in the cell in Hollywood and in the Jump House initially. Once he joins your team the sprite switches to the Joshua one.

The graphic in the opening animation depicts a male in the helicopter.
