Descrizione Schmuck Fu

Don’t think this is gonna be a 100% Gold Remake, it’ll have its differences. Extra battles (some’ll be optionals, tough but rewarding), Hoenn Pokemon (in every area, and hard to find) New areas, Remapped some dungeons (so your old guides wont work) , Extra recurring characters (some’ll hate you, some’ll help you)

Note that the hack is incomplete but feel free to enjoy the hack as-is.

SCHMUCK FU ver 1.0
re-written by Jess Ragan

Didn't you always wish something could have been done to make
Shaq Fu a better game? Of course you didn't... you were smart
enough to play something better. There were only three dozen
fighting games on the Super NES alone that fit that bill.

However, just in case you were wondering, here's a patch that
will turn an ordinary game of Shaq Fu (the Super NES version)
into SCHMUCK FU, with the kind of dialog you wished the original
game had! Watch as Shaquille O'Neal (no relation to Patrice)
fights disgruntled Elmo dolls, frustrated furry filmgoers, and
a zombie who can't keep it in his pants!

Just take the IPS patch included in this ZIP and apply it to
a copy of Shaq Fu, which I'm sure you've procured legally
(cough cough). Also, since the game is a massive pain in the
rump to actually PLAY, I've seen fit to include some codes that
will make the ride a little less rough. When you start the
ZSNES emulator, go to CHEAT in the command bar and enter these
two codes:

7E01BC40: Player One has "infinite" life
7E059602: Player One wins two rounds at the start of every fight

Note that infinite life isn't exactly infinite... Shaq can
still be beaten by opponents, but it will count as HIS victory
and not theirs. Also note that with these two codes active, you
don't have to do anything to advance through the game. Just sit
back, keep one finger on the tilde key (that squiggly Spanish
thing) to fast-forward through battles, and enjoy the new
script!

This game is a strict script re-write; it doesn't add anything
new to the table, like characters that may have been hidden in
the code. Is there? Looking through the script gives me the
impression that Nezu was planned as a mid-boss.

One last note: why didn't I tackle the Genesis game first?
Although both games are dead easy to hack, the Genesis game
won't let you start it if any dialog has been changed. Ergo,
I settled for the Super NES version. There are fewer characters,
but believe me, you ain't missing much.

Have fun, kids!
