Don’t think this is gonna be a 100% Gold Remake, it’ll have its differences. Extra battles (some’ll be optionals, tough but rewarding), Hoenn Pokemon (in every area, and hard to find) New areas, Remapped some dungeons (so your old guides wont work) , Extra recurring characters (some’ll hate you, some’ll help you)
Note that the hack is incomplete but feel free to enjoy the hack as-is.
KingMike's Translations 4/11/2007 STED Exp -------- STED is an obscure sci-fi RPG for the Famicom. Like most RPGs, you collect Experience points in order to earn higher experience levels, for stronger attributes. One annoying thing about STED is that it tells you how much experience you earn after each fight. But it doesn't tell you how much you've already earned, nor how much is needed for the next experience level (aka Class). So here is where I come in. I took a few hourse, and I made it display how much experience you've collected since the last level-up. Just go to the Data screen, and your EXP will now be shown next to the Class (Lvl in j2e's translation) Sorry I didn't take out the leading zeros. Free space in the ROM was very tight. I barely had enough space for the routine as it is. Simply use your favorite IPS program to apply: stedexp-jpn.ips for the Japanese version, and stedexp-j2e.ips on top of j2e's English translation (I worked on the Japanese version, and I needed to change a couple bytes in the j2e version to make it work)
