Don’t think this is gonna be a 100% Gold Remake, it’ll have its differences. Extra battles (some’ll be optionals, tough but rewarding), Hoenn Pokemon (in every area, and hard to find) New areas, Remapped some dungeons (so your old guides wont work) , Extra recurring characters (some’ll hate you, some’ll help you)
Note that the hack is incomplete but feel free to enjoy the hack as-is.
Megaman 3 with Metal Blade ASM ips patch ©2008 Insectduel ============================================================================= Introduction ============================================================================= I took the liberty of creating a cheesy ips patch for Megaman 3, to allow players to use the Metal Blade from Megaman 2. The following is credit due to "tbolt76" Blah, Blah, Blah. And to infidelity for making one. Blah, Blah, Blah. I've made a few changes that is missing and what's new is that I included the Japanese version for Rockman 3 for those hackers who are Japanese or a ROM-Hacker that uses Rockman 3. ============================================================================= Installation ============================================================================= All you need, except the IPS patch itself, is: - A IPS patcher (WinIPS or Lunar IPS would be fine) - An unchanged ROM of the United States Megaman 3 or Japanese Rockman 3. These patches will apply to either ROM you are patching to. Megaman 3 With Metal Blade ASM (U).ips - US version of Megaman 3 Rockman 3 With Metal Blade ASM (J).ips - Japanese version of Rockman 3 They both have the SAME coding but different ROM offsets.
