Description Hallow's End

Don’t think this is gonna be a 100% Gold Remake, it’ll have its differences. Extra battles (some’ll be optionals, tough but rewarding), Hoenn Pokemon (in every area, and hard to find) New areas, Remapped some dungeons (so your old guides wont work) , Extra recurring characters (some’ll hate you, some’ll help you)

Note that the hack is incomplete but feel free to enjoy the hack as-is.

-- PATCHING --
To play, you will need to apply the included patch on a clean EarthBound ROM. Either a headered or unheadered ROM should work fine.
For reference, the MD5 of a clean headered EarthBound ROM is abe493b665f7467000bcf8c373b323fd
The MD5 of a clean unheadered EarthBound ROM is aef8994940b1818c4f02af18cf894f08

You can use the hex editor like HxD to check the MD5:
http://mh-nexus.de/en/hxd/

Windows users can also check the MD5 using this program:
http://support.microsoft.com/kb/841290

To patch the ROM, you will need the EarthBound Patcher program, which can be downloaded here:
http://hacks.lyros.net/downloads/
The .ebp patch is the most reliable way to patch your ROM, as it will detect whether or not your ROM is headered or unheadered, and patch appropriately.

Known Bugs:
Since the healing and lifeup spells were shuffled around among the characters, auto-battle will sometimes not properly use healing and lifeup spells.

Special Thanks
Mr. Accident - For making Visual CCS, which I used extensively in this project.
Mr. Tenda - For making CoilSnake, the handy program used to make this version of the hack.
Messianic - He made some new enemy overworld sprites for me, and improved upon some of the sprites I had made. He also helped with some of the battle sprites.
Nitrodon - For giving me a lot of help with ASM hacking.
NESluver - Helped me figure out the HP Sucker's routine.
Captain Bozo - Taught me the basics about writing new battle action ASM in CCScript.
Blue Antoid - He made the EB versions of the EB0 enemy sprites, that I used as a base for some enemies in this hack.
Artemis 251 - He made the remade version of the EB0 Alligator sprite.
EBrent - He made the EB0 Magicant witch sprites that I used in the hack.
Flamin-P - For making the battle sprite of the Boy.
BlueStone - He improved my old version of the Magicant song.
Thanks to the beta testers Messianic and weasley64
Thanks to everyone who helped create PK Hack. I never would have been able to make a hack like this without such an impressive suite of hacking tools.
And thanks to the player for giving this hack a try.
