Don’t think this is gonna be a 100% Gold Remake, it’ll have its differences. Extra battles (some’ll be optionals, tough but rewarding), Hoenn Pokemon (in every area, and hard to find) New areas, Remapped some dungeons (so your old guides wont work) , Extra recurring characters (some’ll hate you, some’ll help you)
Note that the hack is incomplete but feel free to enjoy the hack as-is.
Final Fantasy Face-Lift V.70 --------------------------------------------------------- This is a short Read Me to describe our unscheduled release of our 1st project. The converting of FF1 to a more astheticly pleasing game. We all know that for its time FF1 was a great game but we decided that we have the knowledge and the power so why not make it a little more enjoyable to play. Tech: --------------------------------------------------------- 1st of all you will need a patching utility such as snestool or ips.exe to apply the patch to the original. We suggest that the former is used due to its friendly user interface. Game info: --------------------------------------------------------- Most of the game remains true to the original with the exception of the addition of the river chocobo in place of the canoe, a few spell and item names, as well as the cool little grey guy on the intro screen. He was found in the original pattern tables but obviously unused unwanted and lonely. So we decided to give the guy a break and let him have his moment in the sun. Credits: --------------------------------------------------------- Phin 99.999% of the rom hacking and general idea supply of notebook and graph paper and a hell of alot of time thimbol thats me.. i didnt do much other than moral support a little hacking and ideas the crappy web page design (which will improve, i promise. Sorry but it was a spur of the moment thing) oh yeah i also typed this read me. thats why is so poorly done ...but you didnt get the patch for the read me... Programs used to create this patch: -------------------------------------------------------- X-Late3 X-Char Hexpose Thingy well have fun, a new release and hopefully a final will be out whenever we wanna look at the hex again...which might be a while. Any suggestions or bugs reports would be appreciated... we can be reached at [email protected] webpage url: www.members.tripod.com/~Milon_FF/
