Description F-Zero Parallel Dimension

Don’t think this is gonna be a 100% Gold Remake, it’ll have its differences. Extra battles (some’ll be optionals, tough but rewarding), Hoenn Pokemon (in every area, and hard to find) New areas, Remapped some dungeons (so your old guides wont work) , Extra recurring characters (some’ll hate you, some’ll help you)

Note that the hack is incomplete but feel free to enjoy the hack as-is.

This readme file contains all data related to the hack.

F-Zero Parallel Dimension v1.0.ips
F-zero Parallel Dimension Classic Mod v1.0.ips

The very first patch contains the standard version of the
game without any changes whatsoever on the mechanics,
while the second one contain new features introduced
with a few mechanics changed which will be explained below.

Rom info:
F-Zero (U) (CRC32 - 0xAA0E31DE)
No-Header

1- F-Zero Parallel Dimension origin:

While travelling to another Grand Prix the 4 main heroes
hit the hyperdrive function; however an unexpected error
made them travel through dimensions until the power ran
out. Finding themselves on this new location the racers
are greeted with the same life forms as their dimension;
however the race tracks and Grand Prix were completely
different. Now it's up to them to attempt to return to
their own dimension while challenging themsleves to the
limit. Who will win and will they find their way back?

2- Track Names:

Each track has it's own unique name in F-Zero X fashion.
Mute City I Alpha Park
Mute City II Beta Venue
Mute City III Omega Central City
Big Blue Twisted Waves
Death Wind I Intersection Road
Death Wind II Crystal Hyperdrive
Silence Meteorain
Port Town I Speed Highway
Port Town II Old Highway
White Land I Snowy Mountain
White Land II Glacier Peak
Sand Ocean Sand Wyrm Depths
Red Canyon I Lower Cavern
Red Canyon II High Drake Canyon
Fire Field Blazing Inferno

3- F-Zero Parallel Dimension Classic Mod changes:

This version of the game includes the addition of the
opposite drift mechanic used on the F-Zero Maximum Velocity
series, in which the player can turn to the right while
pressing the L button to aquire some precise turning and
vice versa; alongside the quick recovery introduced in
later F-Zero games; which means there is no delay to
recover power as there is no UFO to appear.

4- Vehicle color schematic

The 4 main vehicles were changed to match the easter eggs
and references located in the game which will be
detailed later on how many there are and their
locations later on this readme file.

5- How to apply the patch

You will require Lunar IPS or Floating IPS programs to
apply this hack to an unmoddified rom; alongside the
program (which I cannot provide) you will need the USA
version of the F-Zero rom (which I cannot provide as well)
the Japanese version hasn't been tested yet (hence why
there will be future updates to the hack for more changes)

6- Special Thanks

This section is a thank you for all those that helped
testinsg the hack and with suggestions on designs and
moddifications.

7- Easter Eggs

There are hidden secrets and references on this hack
to several games or memes... Can you find them all?

Where are they.
White Land II contais reference to 2 race tracks of
a Nintendo race game.
Sand Ocean and Port Town II contains a reference to a
meme and a game (locations where a shortcut was found).
Each machine color represent characters in a iconic
Nintendo game.
Red Canyon II contains a reference to a race track of
the same game series of this hack (same game series but
different console).
Death Wind II contains a reference to an RPG game
(check a specific section of the minimap, that represent
a iconic object in that RPG series)
Mute City I is almost close to a race track of a Nintendo
race game
