Don’t think this is gonna be a 100% Gold Remake, it’ll have its differences. Extra battles (some’ll be optionals, tough but rewarding), Hoenn Pokemon (in every area, and hard to find) New areas, Remapped some dungeons (so your old guides wont work) , Extra recurring characters (some’ll hate you, some’ll help you)
Note that the hack is incomplete but feel free to enjoy the hack as-is.
Contra Hard Corps Stationary Fire+ by DUSTINODELLOFFICIAL This small patch adds a new way to switch shot modes by simply holding down the MODE button on a 6-button controller. Holding the button down switches to stationary aiming while firing (Shot II), releasing it returns you to normal (Shot I) similar to how the R button works in Contra 3 on SNES. This is optimal for flash cart users with an original style Sega 6 button where MODE is on the top right, or emulator users that can map MODE to the R trigger. The regular toggle methods of holding B and pressing A, or pressing X/Y/Z also still work as well. Note that pressing MODE will override the toggle, though. The patch also completely bypasses the checksum (boots up faster, as well as allowing for compatibility with other hacks). Included are patches for the USA, Japanese & PAL (Probotector) versions. The USA version of the patch was designed to work with the original unaltered ROM, MIJET's Enhancement Hack, MrNemesis' Hit Points Restoration Hack (by itself and combined with the MIJET hack) and the IT.GAMER Ultra Hack 2.0. The MIJET + Hit Point Restore + this hack makes a pretty great version of Contra! The IT.GAMER hack is already too easy and this'll just make it easier...
