Don’t think this is gonna be a 100% Gold Remake, it’ll have its differences. Extra battles (some’ll be optionals, tough but rewarding), Hoenn Pokemon (in every area, and hard to find) New areas, Remapped some dungeons (so your old guides wont work) , Extra recurring characters (some’ll hate you, some’ll help you)
Note that the hack is incomplete but feel free to enjoy the hack as-is.
This patch works with the PAL version (SCES-50295) of Dark Cloud only! In the american and european version of Dark Cloud exists a programming error, that prevents the backfloor key of the gallery of time, the "Flapping Duster", from being generated into a chest. This patch fixes this issue and restores the working behaviour from the japanese version of the game. "Flapping Duster"s can now be obtained from chests in the gallery of time. To apply this patch to your Dark Cloud ISO you need a .ips patching tool like Lunar IPS. Happy backfloor hunting! FOR PCSX2 USERS ---------------- This patch changes the Checksum of the game. In order to play the game in widescreen again, you need to extract the content of the "cheats_ws" folder into your pcsx2/cheats_ws folder or simply rename your existing "0BAA8DD8.pnach" file to "361460A4.pnach".
